This was the most amazing way to treat myself towards the end of the year. The head spa experience was unbelievably calming. All the staff were lovely from beginning to end, and the place itself was beautiful. They also had the option of a “silent treatment” which is great for those who just want some peace and quiet. Will be recommending to family and friends.

had an amazing experience at Skinmetics! Monique did my laser hair removal, and she was absolutely incredible. She made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process,, and the results have been fantastic. I’m so happy with how everything turned out. Highly recommend Monique if you’re considering laser hair removal!

Vanessa completed my Head Spa treatment today and I had a wonderful experience! She took her time with each part of the treatment and made me feel so relaxed and 100% comfortable! Highly recommend! It was also very cool to see the before and after of my scalp analysis, which proves how great a job Vanessa did!

The girls here are really lovely; they’re transparent, friendly, helpful, and warm. They are mature and have treated every client (that I’ve observed) with respect, kindness, and dignity. Alex and Monique are lovely to interact with and I look forward to seeing them each appointment. You can tell that the staff here care for their clients as individuals. They are detail-oriented, listen, receive (and act on) feedback well. Their interactions are genuine and heartfelt, even if they are simple exchanges. This is very much unlike other ‘clinics’ that just see you as a body receiving a procedure, ignoring you at reception, ushering you in and out as quick as possible without any care. Other clinics will side eye you or gossip about you, exhibit other immature behaviour and conduct, and frankly may have very little technical knowledge and expertise in what they are doing. This is not the case at Skinmetics. They are socially intelligent and emotionally aware, you are always acknowledged, greeted warmly, and taken care of. LHR treatments here use the Nd:YAG laser which works very well for darker Fitzpatrick types (I’m a Fitzpatrick IV-V). (Lots of clinics only cater to paler skin tones; Skinmetics has options for all, if not most, skin tones.) Alex is very attentive and receptive to feedback and instructions. It’s a relief and a joy, because at other clinics I’ve had to constantly manage and remind my laser tech of what to do - which is not my job as a paying client. Here, I can relax and trust that Alex will be comprehensive and perform my laser treatments to a high standard. I’m really happy with my results thus far, and it’s a testament to Alex’s skills and expertise. YMMV, as everyone’s body responds to laser differently. I have significant scarring on my body. At other clinics, I’ve been treated poorly based on how my skin looks, ostracised, or treated as if something is wrong with me because it’s something they haven’t seen before. The girls here have been nothing but kind and treat me like they would treat anyone else. Thank you for treating me with the dignity, kindness, and respect that everyone deserves! I’ll continue coming here for as long as I live in Melbourne. I look forward to the rest of my LHR treatments and I’m curious to try their other offerings too!
